Don't be fooled by their name, Max's Wine Dive is not a dive! They have a huge selection of wine, the wine list was more extensive than their food menu.
The wine was great! Our server was very knowledgeable about wine. He asked us what we liked and let us try a few until we found one we could agree on. They had a good selection of happy hour wines at the market price.
We got their anti pasto platter because wine and cheese is the most perfect thing in the world I think! It came with their house made pickled strawberries. They were interesting, sweet and the bite of vinegar.
I was so full of food that I really needed something light. I got their heirloom tomato appetizer. Oh! It was delicious and simple and perfect! Chris with the opposite rout and got Fish and Chips. It was a beer battered cod and french fries with a truffle tarter sauce. It was great! This place was amazing! If you go to Dallas you need to make your way to Max's Wine Dive!
