It is so hard to find a recipe for a peanut butter or chocolate smoothie without bananas! I hate bananas! They have this slimy stringy texture... Ew. So this is, like a lot of what I make, an inspiration of a few different Peanut Butter Oat Smoithies.

Peanut Butter Oat Smoothie

3 T old fashioned oats

2/3 c almond milk

1/2 c apple sauce

2 T natural peanut butter

1 t cinnimon

honey of needed

Blend oats until they are a fine powder. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.

I have been freezing my almond milk in cubes so I don't have to add ice and my smoothie is still cold!

If you can't handle the texture of the oats, refrigerate for 4 or more hours until they are soft.
