First that pesky pineapple! I think because they are so big they seem scary, or maybe it's the spikes. Either way, they are not as scary as they look!
First, lop off the top and bottom. Use a big knife because the skin is pretty strong.
Set it upright and cut off just the spikey skin.
Work your way around it cutting off small sections at a time.
There is a core that is too tough to eat so we are going to cut around it like you would cut an apple.
Throw the core away. Then you can cut up your four prices how you want. I usually cube them but I was juicing it today so I cut it into spears to fit my juicer.
