Since I also had mango in my juice I thought I'd do a post on that as well! It is so hard to cut up because its slimey and it has a huge funny shaped seed in the middle. I think I saw this on Food Network but its been a while so I don't remember what show.
Again, please us a real knife. If you haven't read my post on knives, I'll let you read my rant about knives there and not go on about them here!
Hold the mango on its side and cut just to the side of the middle where the seed is.
Do the same on the other side.
Slice the meat in squares being careful not to go through the skin.
Flip the skin and the sections will pop out.
Securely hold the fruit and cut the section off the skin.
